About
Katie graduated with honors in the top of her class from Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2007 where she received her Juris Doctorate and Certificate in Written & Oral Advocacy. She received a Traynor Honor Society award and participated and excelled in Moot Court and Negotiation competitions. Since law school she has been published in Motherly, Indy’s Child, Carmel Monthly and Zionsville Monthly.
Education & Associations
Katie is licensed to practice law in California, Florida, Nevada, Texas and Indiana. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, Seventh, Ninth and Tenth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
Skills & Experience
Katie has represented clients in California, Florida, Nevada, Texas and Indiana. She has a background in litigation and appeals, which gives her clients peace in knowing that she can represent them when lawsuits arise, but also gives her insight in how to plan to avoid litigation. Katie’s experience in litigation is vast, including bench and jury trials from pleadings to verdict, mediation, arbitration and appeals in business, contracts, personal injury, probate and employment matters.
Katie has extensive experience in corporate law, including governance, entity formation and maintenance, contract creation and review, and mergers and acquisitions. Within her roles she has also developed an expertise in labor and employment law, compliance and government contracts.
